We are pleased to announce that Anna Boulanger has been appointed to the position of Program Development Assistant for Artsweek 2018. Artsweek is Peterborough’s biennial festival of the arts and takes place this year from September 21 – September 30, 2018.
Anna joins us from her previous position as a Designer and Project Marketer. She was born and raised in Longlac, ON, moving south in 2009. Anna is currently entering her fourth year at Trent University, studying Geography and Politics, starting an Honours Thesis this fall based on the functionality and sustainability of multi-use buildings and neighbourhoods in the modern city. Her future plans are to achieve an Architectural Masters Degree after her Undergraduate Degree. Once that is completed, Anna hopes to bring sustainability, design, and functionality together to create buildings and cities that are for the people all around the world.
Once Anna moved to Peterborough in January of 2015, she realized how culture-packed the city is. She is looking forward to bringing her creativity, passion, and marketing skills to the table for Artsweek 2018! Anna feels as though this will be a rewarding experience that will grant her with new insights into the Peterborough community and the Arts community.
